How is the authenticity of sacral art verified?
Each object undergoes a rigorous forensic examination process. Utilizing 365nm UV spectral analysis, we inspect material integrity, while Dino-Lite digital microscopy is employed to evaluate microscopic oxidation layers and casting remnants (such as cire perdue traces) in detail.
How is the art-historical value of an object determined?
The appraisal is based on academic criteria: iconography, age, rarity, and provenance-specific stylistic features. This is supplemented by non-destructive material testing, such as ultrasonic thickness measurement for bronzes, to accurately benchmark core structures and historical substance against the international art market.
What provenance data and documentation are provided?
Each high-end artwork is accompanied by detailed scholarly documentation. This includes the art-historical attribution, estimated period of creation, material analysis, and all available data regarding the object's historical provenance and collection history.
Are these unique individual pieces or reproductions?
Our gallery strictly distances itself from serial replicas or modern mass reproductions. Every ritual object was crafted by hand through traditional methods and exists historically only once. Backed by more than 30 years of established art-market experience, we guarantee the autonomous character and historical integrity of every item in our collection.
How is international art transport handled?
We specialize in the global transit of fragile and valuable objects. Shipments are handled via premium couriers like FedEx, completely insured at full valuation. Each object is packed individually, and customs clearance—including all necessary export documentation—is seamlessly managed by our office.
From which locations are the objects managed and shipped?
Our cross-border logistics infrastructure is engineered for maximum security. Insured shipments are dispatched directly from our primary depot in Germany. For administrative processing, viewings by appointment, and seamless domestic returns, our operational base in the Netherlands provides full infrastructure support.
How are historical patina and pigments preserved?
Antique bronzes possess a naturally formed, stable cuprite or malachite patina that should only be dry-dusted; chemical agents destroy this historical protective layer. Mineral pigments on antique Thangkas or sculptures are also UV-sensitive and must be displayed away from direct sunlight.
